This type of traversing beam is the typical traversing beam as found on the RhB. Many of our customers use this not only in theior RhB but also in American layouts with GG1 and other electric locomotives.

The traversing beam is for multitrack station setup and requires 2 masts, either regular straight arm mast (AZ-61000) or station mast (AZ-61005). You can span at least 3 tracks with it. For stations wider than 3 tracks you use a station mast as a middle mast. The difference between a straight arm mast and a station mast is that with the straight arm mast you can have one extra track on the outside of the traversing side, where the catenary is supported by the straight arm (3 + 1 tracks). Personally I prefer in stations the setup with only traversing beams.
