The QUAD is a great new product
When it comes to track cleaning we don't have many options:
- Muscle power (clean and scrub your track)
- Track cleaning locomotive

The QUAD is based on the USA Trains 40' box car and is available in the following road names: UP (#3, yellow) / SP (#2, red) / NH (orange-pictured) / Chessie (yellow) / Burlington Northern (Green) / Burlington Route (Red) / Norfolk & Western (Tuscan) / D & RGW (red) / Santa Fe Rt of Super Chief (brown) / others upon request. Please specify on your order.
It features 4 geared motors with 4 rotating discs. It comes with for polishing pads for heavy polishing and 4 cleaning pads for light cleaning. Of course you can equip a 4 motor boxcar with two each of the cleaning pads. Each disc is independently suspended to account for uneven track. The pads are peal & stick can can be easily changed. A ON/OFF switch turns the cleaning unit on or off. The car works with 24 V DC/DCC.
